Self Review 2025/09 – BTC Demo Trading !

I took a solid 4 month break and have been taking some demo position trades evaluating some crypto trading platforms. In Canada, regulation has crippled our access to the markets – you can trade spot but essentially all derivatives are “cancelled” in Canada. You’d have to go no a no KYC exchange with a VPN and “pretend” not to be in Canada to effectively trade perp markets, and it’s with exchanges that are dodgy with limits on transfer sizes.

So no money here, this is all demo but I’ve been journalling everything. Here is this month in review. Slow lazy position trading only – look at my phone, see “oh hey there is an opportunity” and fire at it. No focus or attention spent. I’ve been working on this little AI backed trading copilot a little bit so I just happen to have cTrade open on my desktop at home and take some swings.

I have this really bad image that shows some more history – I can’t see it in cTrader 😦 haven’t been doing a good job of journalling everything but it’s enough for review. The 2nd I took a loss – I think I took 2 or 3 shots at a trade that day and couldn’t get it.

Not bad. I’ll dig up a few of the trades.
