I’ve been focusing on following a checklist to quantify position quality, tuning my playbook, and testing that I can trade in the new conditions. It’s been going really well. But I want to focus on one specific pivot I made that I view as the most critical thing I switched in my priorities: physical fitness.
I started to supplement with NADH and Tongkat Ali to boost testosterone, improve muscle recovery, amp my metabolism and energy levels, and restore general health. I also cut my alcohol intake to 0 and have been focusing on sleep quality (ensuring lights are off when I’m going to sleep, trying to turn down my output after 8 or 9pm.)
I’ve lost about 7 lbs in under 30 days suspect – I stepped on the scales a few days ago and weighed 10 lbs lighter in 30 days, but that was likely a lot of water weight lost from going to the gym multiple days in a row.
NADH is amazing. I’m shocked at how immediate of an effect it had on me. It’s hard to say which of the factors of changing my patterns has had the effect it has, but I feel at my peak health. My cardio health is rapidly improving and I can do the hikes without slowing down that would wind me a few months ago. The weight I’m moving at the gym has nearly doubled, some of that is surely from my nervous system re-adapting to pushing weight around, but it’s impressive to see it.
This was it for me, having physical health has cascaded into emotional stability. I haven’t seen a slip in my decision making. I just need to put self review back in focus, because I’ll get to size if I’m doing it diligently.
All systems check, we’re ready for take-off. Let’s get parabolic.
