Trading light today but I hit so many great trades today. It’s a news day so I tiered down to avoid damage. But I hit near-100% winrate.
Best win of the day for sure was US100/nasdaq into rate news.
Yes 17306. But I was tiered down so I built a position out of there to only a half a contract (17k/2 notional.) Still, very nice.
Took profit fast, and trailed stops, to get most of the move. It reversed from there alllll the way down. “glitch retrace” – these moves almost always retrace 100% so don’t round trip it!
I added 2 other positions, USDJPY short after massive flight to dollar, and BTC long (risk on.) Both won.
USDJPY above was a nice entry if late. Did it move? Yes! I took half here. Rest ran to entry, but then the pair dropped to 155!!! Ah well.
And BTC I long’d a bit late, but as the ultimate risk asset, it roared for me!

I caught a good move, closed profit, and trailed the rest. It closed all green, and reversed fully.
Then I switched, took more small gains on bitty, and have moved into ES.
I funnelled some small gains on btc long over 58 back into es.
I’ve taken some profit off of ES now, I’m leaving the rest.
Excellent day, win rate was very high. Small trades (1/10th) but so much winning, I netted a half point on double digit risk. Excellent! we’ve got bullets. Just looking for the one good trade from here now that I’ve recovered a bit.
