I actually closed a red day today even though I had a couple great entries. Didn’t take profit aggressively enough.
The first short was when Jpow stepped up on the mic.
Can see the entry was super nice. This was the result.
I didn’t take profit aggressively enough and the price retraced leaving me with only a couple tens in my hand. I need to journal about some of these behaviours.
The second really nice trade was another short watching VOLDQ rolling over:
I took a break and set the risk to 0 but I got bumped out before the move.
I took a DR retirement long as well which panned out but it didn’t move much so again, left with only dollars in my hand.
All really nice setups, I just didn’t execute them very well so the profit got away from me on all of them. Doesn’t matter, it’s a long game and I can see when I review my trades that my decision making is on point in interpreting the data. I just need to make a couple small tweaks.
