I layed a bunch of stop sell orders over yesterday into the eve and they all clicked open when Apple boosted after hours yesterday. I woke up after PPI today and closed the short.
I had slept through the news, and didn’t set any TP. Once I got my head together a bit I realized that it’ll surely compete out shorts, so I closed the trade and shifted to look for re-entry on the gap fill.
I re-entered after the repricing was mostly retraced. I got stopped, and then just re-entered fully at the gap fill.
I took a couple entries, the last one was really clean. I closed the lower one first, and then around NYSE bell ring I decided to take profit fully.
