Market internals were really crazy this AM. S&P looked strong on open, NASDAQ was all over the place. Got stopped flat on S&P – VOLD was really high on open, and the market quickly shifted. I opened a large short on Nasdaq a little late and let it run. Took profit aggressively as it notched down, and looked for the signal to enter/continue.
Took a few tiny hits, and some bigger wins. Was a difficult day to trade – fear and greed is very high, but there isn’t clean trend and internals are very mixed.
PnL on the right. Mostly was shorting nasdaq and then taking profit back off, looking for the next safe move. I was trying to catch BTC long as well but wasn’t super focused on it and kept seeing I was “betting” so I’d take some little hits mostly just adjusting my behaviour to avoid loss and keep the capital on the table. Tryin’ to make some strides to finish this challenge.
